WASTE BASKET

The octagonal bottom should be made as accurate as possible.

The blocks between the eight vertical sides are best made in one long piece.

They should be glued and nailed in place before the sides are screwed to the bottom.

Only one screw should be put in each side until the tops are tied together.

Two rosettes may give place to large brass ring handles.

Finally, the sides should be laced together with rawhide shoe or belt lacings.
